Cable inspection is critical since cables bear substantial loads and can fray gradually before complete failure. We examine the full length of each cable, looking for broken strands, rust, or areas where the braided steel shows signs of stress. The cable drums receive attention to ensure cables spool evenly without overlapping or bunching. Track and roller assessment identifies wear before it causes operational problems. Tracks should remain straight, properly aligned, and securely mounted to structural members. Force settings receive adjustment if needed to ensure the opener provides adequate power without excessive pressure that could damage the door or create safety hazards. Travel limits must be set precisely so the door stops at correct positions when fully open and fully closed.

Weather sealing inspection helps maintain energy efficiency and keep water, dust, and pests out of your garage. The bottom seal makes contact with the floor across the door’s full width, and we check for cracks, compression set, or gaps that indicate replacement is needed. Side and top weather stripping should remain pliable and properly attached. For insulated doors, we verify that panels remain sealed and insulation hasn’t degraded or shifted.
